Welcome to the Dartmoor Trust
...and its new website, with enhanced information in easy to navigate style that resizes automatically for viewing across multiple platforms including smart phones, tablets and PCs. On the pages you will find more information about the Dartmoor Trust’s projects and how to apply for grants to assist your projects that benefit Dartmoor.
The Dartmoor Trust Archive has been revamped to make it more interactive and user friendly, allowing logged in users to search for information directly or via a map interface, add comment, create your own favourites, plan routes, download images and information for reference during walks, and upload your own high quality images and descriptions to add to the 20,000 image reservoir of knowledge of Dartmoor. The Archive, which is run by volunteers, is dependent on editors and moderators to scan and catalogue new documents, paintings and photographs, and on moderators to ensure that the information archived for international access in posterity is accurate. If you are able to help, please contact us.
The Dartmoor Trust works closely with the National Park Authority on projects that benefit Dartmoor. As an independent charity, it is totally dependent on volunteers’ support and your donations and legacies to continue its work.
